Preparing for Invigilating an Enrolled Member's Exam

Due to COVID-19, the ABCFP has made temporary changes to the Invigilation section (page 2) of the Exam Rules: LMS Online Exams, in effect until further notice.

Before your enrolled member starts an exam, review the following information with them.
  1. Ensure your enrolled member has reviewed the preceding module several times.
  2. Review the Exam Study Guides and other study resources available from the LMS Resources page of our website. 
  3. Print a copy of the Exam Rules to use during the exam. 
  4. Review the Exam Rules with your enrolled member.
    1. Read the Exam Rules: LMS Online Exams document. Print a copy to follow during the exam. 
    2. Exam Rules must be followed during the exam.
  5. Arrange to invigilate the exam, or arrange for a member-designate.
    1. Sponsors or a member-designate must invigilate all exam modules, which include: 
      1. 1b Regulation and Ethics: Exam 
      2. 4b Forest Legislation and Policy: Exam 
      3. 4d Other Legislation and Policy: Exam.
    2. Exam Rules: LMS Online Exams list the requirements for invigilators/invigilation.
    3. Using a Member-Designate: If you have arranged for a member-designate to invigilate your enrolled member’s exam, you must provide the confidential PIN to the memberdesignate (and not the enrolled member) before your enrolled member schedules the exam.     4. You must be ready with the PIN before your enrolled member launches the exam.
  6. Read How do I find the confidential PIN required to start an enrolled member's exam? to find your enrolled member’s PIN. Record the PIN number on paper so that you can enter it when prompted during the start and end of the exam.
