System Requirements

The FPBC LMS and content will work various hardware platforms, but the following is an example of a minimum specification that would be expected to deliver a rich, interactive user experience.
  1. We recommend a minimum Internet bandwidth of 256 kbps. However, a broadband internet connection is highly recommended for optimal use of the system.  A 'hard-wired' internet connection is preferred for exams.
  2. For minimum browser recommendations, see Supported Browsers.
  3. Client-side JavaScript must be enabled.
  4. JavaScript and cookies must be enabled for all browsers.
  5. Adobe Flash Player 10.0 and higher is required for some modules.
  6. Pop-up windows should be enabled in the browser (click here for instructions).
  7. The recommended minimum screen resolution for each device type is below: 
    1. Desktop:  1280 x 1024
    2. iOS: 320px (minimum width)
    3. Android: 480px (minimum width)
